Make Me Human
What makes us human? I would like to think it is more than the shape of our skulls, the size of our brains, and the ability to walk upright. I would like to think that what makes us human, is our ability to reason, to love others more than we love ourselves, to forgive past transgressions, to look at a person and see more than the color of their skin, and to be able to balance between logic and emotion. I live in a world surrounded by computers, cubicles, and where the bottom line is more important than the individual. Sometimes even I forget what it means to be human. These are my reflections on the everyday stories that make me feel “emotional”…whether through tears, rejoicing laughter or incredible anger, these stories help…Make Me Human.
